This is definitely one of the lesser known species from N'Chwaning, which arguably produced the finest rhodochrosites in the world. However, who wants the common stuff, eh? This new find of lovely, translucent, pastel-colored brucite is just incredible for the species. Very nearly a floater, complete all around save for a small matrix attachment seam along the back, this is a steller miniature with great aesthetics! The yellow dusting is a bonus - microcrystals of the rare mineral Jouravskite 3.9 x 2 x 1.9cm
