This simply balanced specimen has a beauty beyond its size, for the clarity and gemminess of the crystal, and the subtle accents of associated galena and slight stepped growth. Splendent, metallic, octohedral galena crystals to 5 mm across act as a foil for glassy and gemmy, rich purple colored crystals of fluorite, which reach up to 2.5 cm across.
