This is an exceptional Peridot crystal in every sense of the word, for color and sharpness as well as form. The tabular Peridot crystal is GEMMY, has a pleasing and uniform lime-green color, and excellent faces and termination; whereas most peridot from here usually lack one of those three attributes. As a bonus, it is included by sharp, long crystals of the rare species Ludwigite, which makes for an outstanding combination and perhaps one of the few display quality specimens of "ludwigite" out there. Note that this specimen was in multiple exhibits of the core Obodda thumbnail collection in Munich, Springfield, and Tucson over the last ten years.
