Nearly growing around the remnants of what once was an elongated epidote crystal, many spheres of translucent, apple green prehnite, to 2 cm across, have taken on a stalactitic appearance. Superb and unusual, this is highly different than any we have seen from this locality before. This piece is beautifully translucent and is complete all around!
