Volborthite is an uncommon hydrated copper vanadate secondary mineral found in the oxidized zones of vanadium-bearing hydrothermal deposits. This fine specimen features scintillating, electric lime-green volborthite plates nicely concentrated on the sculptural matrix of sandstone. Rare.
