Malachite With Quartz on Selenite
A very pretty, sparkly specimen with an intense green ball of malachite covered with quartz, perched snugly against a nice selenite crystal. This is just a geometrical oddity, with lots of contrast of form and color. I love this mine. I buy all the good pieces I can lay hands on, from here. But this piece, to me, stands out - totally unique among all I have seen. Joe Budd photos.
