This impressive display specimen is a large matrix ruby, with a 3 cm crystal in matrix. Obviously not a gem crystal, or it would be unfathomably valuable, but this IS a ruby crystal, and a euhedral one at that - complete all around, with sharp faces, on matrix! It also has good translucency when backlit and the good color, if not gemminess. For the locality, its very sharp! 10.7 x 9.0 x 7.0cm
