From the new find in the late Fall of 2005 in Pakistan. This is a nice little specimen from the most famous Tourmaline locality in Pakistan. I have seen many Tourmaline specimens from Stak Nala for many years and the one characteristic that many of them lacked was decent color. This crystal features several colors ranging from a light blue shade one end ranging into a slight colorless "Achroite" zone, grading into a blue-green area, then into an olive-green color, then a very dark forest-green color. The prism faces of the Tourmaline are rather lustrous for this material. This is a great display piece and a wonderful pegmatite specimen from a classic locality. These pieces are becomingly increasingly difficult to find in today's market.
