This is one of the best specimens in the size range, from this pocket! It features unusually fine replaced crystals showing great terminations. Plumbogummite ps. Pyromorphite crystals grew from both the top and bottom of a thin septum of matrix. The crystals, to 3.7 cm in length, exhibit only incipient hopper growth, especially when compared to the other specimens in this lot. They are much less "etched " in appearance, thus. The crystals are a lovely sky blue color, yet remnants remain at the crystal bases of the original, lustrous, olive green pyromorphite. This fine specimen stands upright on its own accord but displays well from both horizontal and vertical positions. It is one of my favorites in the lot.
