A showy and excellent, slabbed and polished red datolite nodule nicely set in matrix from the Mesnard Mine of Michigan. The datolite has a nice porcelaneous look and the red color is the result of copper inclusions. Red datolite nodules from Copper Country are always in demand. Ex. Dean Martalock and Seaman Museum Collections.
