Paradamite
Paradamite is almost never seen as anything more than small isolated crystals on matrix. Rich specimens like this are almost unheard of, and all apparently came out in a few pockets in the early 1980s. This level of the mine is now flooded, and no more of any quality have been found in nearly 3 decades. A sliver of matrix hosts a fine, intergrown cluster of lustrous and translucent, greenish amber colored crystals of paradamite, to 5 mm across. Paradamite, the much rarer dimorph of adamite, reaches its zenith at Mina Ojuela. This is an incredible rich specimen with sharp crystals; translucent and lustrous.
