This is a relatively large, lovely light blue Fluorite from pegmatite in the Crystal Peak area of Colorado. This sharply formed translucent to transparent crystal measures 5 cm on edge and is gemmy around the edges to a centimeter or so inside the crystal and the interior is translucent. Looking into the front of this crystal's top corner you can see all the way through it to the anterior. The crystal has a satiny luster and displays low profile geometric growth hillocks on the edges of the front face and one of the side faces. The Fluorite is complete on the front and sides and contacted on the back and bottom. There are several small, partially complete, very pale creamy white Microcline crystals from 2 to 2.6 cm that have a tinge of green, almost Amazonite-like color to them. A cluster of bladed, white Albite crystals are also present toward the back of the piece on the bottom. This is a very good example of pegmatite Fluorite Colorado! It was found, we were told, in a small pocket in 2019-2020.
