A beautiful and aesthetic specimen from recent finds in China. The large vug is richly lined with sparkly, royal-blue to midnight-blue azurite crystals. The azurite vug is beautifully surrounded by chatoyant, banded, malachite. The quality of the azurite is outstanding. Chinese azurites of this quality compare very favorably with Bisbee material. Ex.
