A very strange and ethereal, elongated petalite crystal from Brazil of all places! I have only seen, frankly, rubbish in the way of petalite from Brazil. Rarely do they compare to the Afghani material now. But, this is a very exciting piece, with form and gemminess, and an internal brightness and transparenc that you do not see fomr the Afghani finds but in rare exceptions. Superb for any gem pegmatite, Brazilian, or rarity suite.
