An exceptional display specimen that just has super aesthetics, this piece stands out in a crowd. A mass of lustrous and resinous ruby jack sphalerite serves as the crystallized and contrasting matrix for these discrete and isolated, lustrous and gemmy, purple fluorite crystals, to 2.2 cm across. Ex. Ross Lillie collection. RCL#0256. Textbook perfection and a beautiful contrast make this an awesome small cabinet piece, though individually either species alone would not be noteworthy.
