A fine, floater Ruby crystal that has excellent luster and gemminess. Lustrous all the way around. Weighs an amazing 6.2 grams. This was a specimen from the early 1980s, Charlie said, from a famous project he helped put together to try to commercially mine these. A fabulous gem crystal, no matter how you cut it (or not), this was then kept for decades in his personal thumbnail collection Ex. Charlie Key Collection.
