A large, sharp, gemmy, doubly terminated, childrenite crystal from Linopolis, Brazil. It is HUGE for the species! The crystal is in fact, two parallel-growths together and there are some nice orange highlights off the reflections. Both sides are gemmy on this interesting crystal. This classic, old-time and pristine crystal is from the Ed Swoboda Collection. When I bought out his garage, he told me he had collected this in the 1950s or 1960s. Ed is now 92. There is no damage on the contact notch, though it looks like damage in the photo. This is an IMPORTANT crystal for the species.
