This unusual specimen of cuproadamite has two disparate periods of growth with two separate forms. Initially, botryoids with matte luster and olive green color, to .5 cm across formed in the limonite vug. The later generation of glassy and gemmy, emerald-green cuproadamite, formed on the botryoids, around the rim of the specimen. These crystals reach .5 cm in length. The paragenesis, as well as the disparate habits, is lovely.
