Associated with colorless quartz, is a vug containing lustrous and translucent, ivory colored sheaves of the rare mineral bavenite. The crystals, to .7 cm across, were first found in the Baveno area of Lake Maggiore, Italy. Their chemistry is made up of calcium, beryllium, aluminum, silicate. These are OUTSTANDING and large crystals for the species - the best I have personally seen for sale.
