A lustrous, 2.9 cm, blocky aegirine crystal with an etched termination highlights this fine combination piece from recent finds in Malawi. The matrix of smaller aegirines and blocky, orangey orthoclase is richly sprinkled with brown zircon crystals to 5 mm.
