A rich, bi-colored tourmaline from the Himalaya Mine. Most of the gemmy, lustrous, well-striated, beauty is a pleasing mint-green. The lustrous, modified, pinacoidal termination is black and the crystal base is opaque, dark green. Very nearly pristine. Solid green, older tourmalines, such as this, with the dark caps were relatively uncommon. Weighs 18 grams. Ex. Robert Whitmore Collection # 30 (definitely an older piece) .
