A fine and highly unusual cabinet quartz crystal cluster from Brazil and the Richard Hauck Quartz Collection. The striking, "mother-daughter" phantom is clearly visible on the front and side of the large crystal, where the upper portion of the smaller "daughter," angled crystal has been engulfed by the large "mother" crystal. Fascinating. The naming terms are "New Age" but I have to admit they actually are apt in this case. The two water-clear crystals are complete-all-around and are nearly pristine. The preferential interior inclusions of iron oxides on the backsides of the crystals are a nice accent. Undoubtedly older material.
