A sharp and relatively large greenockite crystal, especially from this - one of the rarest and most difficult to obtain localities for the species! The crystal measures just over 2 mm in size. It was collected from a small pocket in June of 1968 by Richard Kosnar, apparently when they still lived in Jersey. This greenockite is very significant because it's a miniature and only a handful were collected, while most were only thumbnails Obviously not from Franklin, I know...but as good a place to show it as any! 5 x 3 x 1.5 cm
