Glassy and gemmy with a low angle bipyramidal termination, this lovely elbaite is nearly limpid and has super gemminess that really makes these old Virgem de Lapa tourmalines stand out from most other Brazilian crystals. They are just gemmier, although the tradeoff is a paler color. This has the classic hue from there, colorless grading to a blush of lavender pastel hue. The mass is 39 grams. Ex.
