Scattered crystals of glassy and gemmy, intense green dioptase, to 1.3 cm across, are emplaced on rhombs of colorless calcite over a matrix of brownish-pink dolomite. The color and texture contrast are remarkable. This is a fine miniature of one of the most classic minerals in the mineral world, probably from the 1970s finds here.
