An impressive and colorful rhodochrosite specimen from the famous N'Chwaning II Mine. Super gemmy and lustrous, intergrown, cherry-red rhodochrosite scalenohedrons densely cover the thin matrix rind of massive manganite. The rhodochrosite crystals are partially covered by a quartz druse. The gemmy rhodochrosites reach 2.0 cm on this specimen.
