A huge, amazing plate of DOZENS of super-sharp fluorite octahedrons, with the sought-after balance of purple and green tones from this find. The big crystals measure to 4 cm, and are scattered in a fine balance across the quartz matrix. Under strong light, these crystals absolutely GLOW. Some collectors, in fact, backlight them to create a truly spectacular display- the thin quartz matrix allows the light through so that they light up like colored light bulbs! The remaining specimens trickling onto the market from this find are from old stocks that are still being prepped, as we hear from the Chinese that the mining of these is FINISHED. This is a major specimen from the find, and I have priced it LOWER than when they were coming out in quantity as I got a great deal on it from a Chinese contact before the Denver show, who was liquidating his own material.
