This is an old Alto Ligonha "watermelon" tourmaline out of the collection of Ed Harrison, circa 1960s-1970s. It is GORGEOUS and rich. The bottom half has a pink core with a green rind. The top, however, does not have this pink core, and is more towards a bluish-green. The crystal has a sharp, complete termination, and actually has a tiny tourmaline crystal embedded in it! Weighs 44 grams.
