2.2 x 2.2 x 0.6 cm (largest). A fine matched pair of sliced and polished azurite and malachite nodules from an uncommon locality for the species - Inyo County, California. Both nodules have an azurite rind. The azurite nodule has beautiful, multi-hued blue banding, reminiscent and equal to the quality of the well-known Bisbee nodules. The malachite interiors have an interesting floral look. Ex. P. Kellinghausen of Elizabeth, New Jersey. Probably older pieces, but no proof.
