Summitville, Colorado covellite of this quality is rarer than Butte covellite and is considered by many to be the finest covellite in the world. This striking specimen features very large, golden-brassy metallic plates with gorgeous peacock-blue accents. Essentially solid covellite, this is an excellent example of the species and famous locale and is from the Reynolds Mine. Ex. Wes Parker Collection.
