Under good light you can see that this huge sphalerite crystal is actually a gemmy wine-red! It measures 2 centimeters; it has a smaller crystal growing next to it, and is backed by bladed calcite crystals, with small crystals beneath it. These Shuikoushan sphalerites are very significant for the species!
