This bizarre and beautiful form of botryoidal hematite is often called "kindey ore." It is classic from England, but actually a lot rarer in good American specimens. This specimen is solid hematite, and it presents a wonderfully bubbly, shiny display face. Ex. Russ McFall Collection.
