Descloizite is a highly desired Vanadate found in numerous locations worldwide, including the Velardena Mine in Santa Eulalia. The structure of this small cab is both organic and superb, consisting of numerous, finger-like stalactites and knobs. Both short and gloriously long (over 3 cm), these stalactites and knobs are covered by what must be thousands of golden-brown, 2 mm-wide Descloizite blades. The aesthetics of this piece are quite fine. I would not have recognized this, as it is a very small and rare find, but Kay noted on her label that it was confirmed by Peter Megaw in 2000.
