A CLASSIC, gemmy and lustrous, cherry-red rhodochrosite scalenohedron with a bit of attached matrix from the famous Santa Eulalia District of Mexico. The termination is lightly contacted with matrix, but is not damaged. Gemmy Santa Eulalia rhodos, such as this, are RARE and highly desirable. These showy crystals came out 20-30 years ago, with none since. Ex. Dick Jones Collection.
