What an absolute stunner of a rhodo.These gemmy, cranberry-colored scalenohedrons usually have broken tips but these are perfect.There is a coating of white quartz in the crystal interstices that offers an unusual color contrast. I personally think this specimen is a killer competition-level large thumbnail! Found in the late 1970s (1978-1979) and not of this quality since... 2.6 x 1.9 x 1.5 cm
