For those who don't know, Richard Kosnar mined the Sweet Home for a few years during the late 1970's and managed to collect some excellent specimens. This piece is from one of the first pockets that Rich opened when he started mining the Sweet Home. Apatite is rather rare in my experience from the Sweet Home. This specimen features a 5mm, sharp, lustrous, gemmy, bicolor (green and colorless), doubly-terminated Apatite crystal sitting on Quartz and sulfide matrix. This piece was collected in 1977 out of a very small pocket that only produced a handful of these Apatite specimens. Ex. Richard Kosnar Collection.
