A modern classic, and a very well preserved one for this material. Most are single, loose shells. This piece, remarkably, has one shell upon another in a vertical arrangement so that it LOOKS like a matrix specimen, from a deposit that I did not think produced matrix specimens. This gives this piece a unique look, on a shelf. It is complete all around, a floater. These are were more or less like a modern clam that have been replaced by translucent golden Quartz variety Agate. A complete Floater, 360 degrees! Most of these are broken, or partial. This is a great example, truly special - and a surprising Quartz thumbnail.
