This large, very attractive Fluorite is absolutely classic for Cave-in-Rock! The Fluorites have yellow cores with gemmy outer zones with sharp phantoms that range from purple to blue. The corners have stepped growth and the cubic faces are dotted with lustrous, mm-sized Pyrite crystals for decoration. There is some very minor edge wear, but it really has little effect on the overall appearance given the size and showiness of the piece. The largest crystal is over 6 cm on edge, and in some areas the "zoning within zoning" layering is simply amazing. An excellent, aesthetic cabinet specimen, it is even better in person if you have backlighting in your case, as it is shown here with rather normal overhead lighting.
