This crystal has classic Himalaya Mine color but startling gemminess and transparency for the locality. It has one small spot of damage, 3 mm across, on one edge of the termination and hence a low price. But it LOOKS very sexy from the front and this damage can be turned to the side or back in any case. You can read right through it! From the collection of Hubert De Monmonier (1919-2007), donated by bequest to the University of Arizona Museum to add to their displays and to provide specimens for sale to establish an endowment fund for museum operations, in perpetuity.
