Fluorite on Sphalerite

Aesthetically perched high on bright, black sphalerite crystals to 1.7 cm across, is a 3.5 cm complex crystal of gemmy, pastel green fluorite. The fluorite crystals are cubes with modifying octahedral faces. Stark contrast and aesthetics make this one of my favorite specimens of all here. The crystallized matrix and isolation of the gem crystal atop contribute to making it a bit more of a premium specimen, in my book. Very nice!
