These came out in the 1980s and are exceptionally rare - I have seen just a few for sale. This Baryte specimen is a rich red-orange color, thanks to inclusions of realgar. The Baryte is comprised of intergrown, tabular to bladed, lustrous crystals exhibiting good architectural form. The largest crystal is 2.0 cm in length.
