A rare Longfellow mine small cabinet specimen of blue azurite rosettes to 8 mm on a limonite matrix. The rosettes appear to have been deposited in two distinct generations, the first, dark blue and the second, a brighter blue. The azurite has a bright luster and appears to be coating a small amount of native copper. old R. Buckingham label included with piece. very RARE LOCALITY that dates the piece back as this mine is now incorporated into the current Morenci Mine workings! 9.4 x 5.7 x 5.3 cm
