An EXCEPTIONALLY GEMMY and LARGE, 1.2 cm, glassy and transparent, greenish-yellow, thin, tabuluar narsarsukite crystal set in a fine-grained hornfels from Mt. St-Hilaire, Canada. You can look right through the crystal to the matrix. Narsarsukite is a rare sodium, titanium silicate. Mt. St-Hilaire produces the world"s finest specimens and largest crystals for the species. This is a GOOD ONE. See the Mineralogical Record Special Issue, Vol. 21, # 4, 1990. 5.5 x 5.5 x 5.3 cm
