Sharply terminated quartz crystals, such as this, are rare, and are called the Tessin habit. This water-clear, highly lustrous, beautifully striated, 6-sided, ultra sharp, pristine spear-point is from a classic Connecticut locale - the Becker Quarry. Ex. Richard Hauck Collection. Older material.
