Despite the fact that this azurite crystal has its matrix contact face towards you, it is still a significant crystal, at 4 cm in length. It and the crystal next to it have partly pseudomorphed to malachite, creating the green accents. These crystals formed in a seam, and one side of the seam was removed to expose them - which is why there is mineral attachment on the crystals.
