Here we have an attractive mound of gemmy, reddish pink scalenohedra of Rhodochrosite measuring up to 8 mm intermixed with some stubby gemmy colorless Quartz crystals on a black manganese matrix. This is one of the few pieces I've seen associated with Quartz from this area. A very colorful miniature from one of the premier Rhodo locales in the world. 5.4 x 4.2 x 3.8cm
