Here is a rare kyanite from Kenya. Due to the way kyanites terminate, it is impossible for me to tell whether this crystal, embedded in quartz and mica, is terminated or not - even with a loupe; either way rate, it is actually fairly transparent, so of good quality, in addition to being rare.
