Tsumcorite is one of the signature mineral species rarities for which the Tsumeb Mine is renowned and is also the Type Locality. Tsumcorite is a lead, zinc, iron arsenate and is named after the Tsumeb (Tsum) Corporation (Cor) Mine. Yellow-brown and orange-brown radial clusters of tsumcorite are richly and aesthetically scattered on the 3-dimensional matrix and are complimented by a multitude of tiny quartz crystals. Quartz is uncommon at Tsumeb, so this is not only a fine rarity, but also an outstanding combination rarity.
