Nicely emplaced on orangey arsenian pyromorphite are lustrous and translucent yellow green crystals of pyromorphite to 1 cm in length. The crystals clearly exhibit a dramatic form of parallel growth. Each year, fewer fine examples like this can be found in the mineral market, and this is a superior miniature specimen from the noted collection of Mike and Mary Jaworski. This would be from the mid 1980s finds. Mike was a consulting mine geologist in the heyday here and assembled a superb collection of different styles of pyromorphite, one from almost every pocket in the 1980s. Good from both sides!
