The matrix here was successively covered with microcrystals of rich deep blue azurite, and then by velvety puffballs of mossy malachite in the center - you can see the azurite peeking through here and there. Anyway, pretty contrast, a colorful specimen from an often-overlooked azurite locality. Ex. Mullane Collection.
